Sooo I was just sitting and wondering what do people actually do to celebrate Halloween “The devils birthday” apart from trick or treating! Until my friends suggested this…
We decided to check out Butlers orchard in Germantown which seemed pretty packed with activities! If you are kenyan like me…you know how we used to go to shows to see Animals, tricks…etc…exactly the same thing!
The orchard was just like a huge farm!
Trust me!! If you are in the DMV are you gotta make time to go there!
If you love Campfire parties, pumpkin festivals, Bunnyland festivals…you name any festivities! Butlers orchard got it!
The first thing we did when we got there was definitely going through the corn maze…
Throughout the walks, there was an amazing band which definitely made the place lively…
What’s the point of going to the patch without actually harvesting some pumpkins lol
Here are some pics of my girls and I just casually slaying in the pumpkin patch:
We all Opted for some casual comfy outfits:
- I went for some camo joggers with a pair of combat boots which gave me that country chilled look.
- My friend Angelica, (To the right) Went for some ripped jeans and a pair of knee high boots for a more put together look.
- And Maria, (To my left) was definitely going for a laid back look put together with a flannel and a pair of converses.
Next stop…the animal farm! We got a chance to feed the animals as well and if you follow me on Snapchat (@missy_lynnnn) you would’ve seen the frustration on my face trying to feed the goats 💀
Our last stop was going through the Magic maze full of hay. Super fun to play hide ‘n’ seek if you into that..
And that’s all! Hope you get a chance to visit butler’s orchard one of these days. For more information, Check out their website HERE.
